My name is Lauren Stutts, and I am a Licensed Psychologist and an Associate Professor in the department of Public Health at Davidson College. My specialty area is clinical health psychology, and I practice with science-supported strategies to help people with the following concerns: 1) anxiety and/or depression, 2) body image and/or disordered eating, and 3) health behavior problems and/or difficulty adjusting to illness/injury. I received my B.S. in psychology from Davidson College and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Florida. Subsequently, I completed my pre-doctoral internship at the Medical College of Georgia/Charlie Norwood VA Hospital. My post-doctoral residency was at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital where I primarily served medical populations. I have been seeing patients in private practice since 2012.
